With over two decades of experience, Dr Fiona McCarthy is a Consultant Medical Oncologist as well as a leading authority on how cancer therapies affect the skin. She is passionate about educating women on the proactive steps everyone can make to minimise their risk of developing the disease, as well as how best to manage the symptoms and treatment, particularly as a mid-life woman concurrently dealing with the nuances of hormone shifts.
Dr. Fiona McCarthy has recently been appointed as Key Opinion Leader (KOL) in Oncology for L’Oreal & La Roche-Posay, where she is instrumental in advancing education and resources for both medical professionals and patients. Through her position, Dr.Fiona is an established member of the La Roche-Posay and Macmillan Cancer Medical Advisory Board, where she is helping to guide the development of oncology- focused education and playing a vital role in shaping the future of patient cancer care.
