Dr Catherine Fairris qualified as a doctor from the University of Bristol in 2008 having previously gained her BSc in Pharmacology. She completed her core medical training in the NHS and was a Rheumatology Registrar before shifting her focus to a specialism in Aesthetic medicine.
She is President of the British college of aesthetic medicine, the largest organisation representing aesthetic Doctors in the UK. Dr Fairris is member of the Royal college of Physicians, having passed her membership exams in 2014. In 2018 she completed her Masters degree in Aesthetic medicine from Queen Mary’s University of London – graduating with distinction. Her dissertation was titled “An evidence-based comprehensive guide to volumisation of the mid-face with dermal fillers, including a proposed algorithm for managing complications” which was later published.
Dr Fairris has extensive experience in the use of injectable products. Dr Fairris has a particular interest in complication management, which she continues to pursue academically.
