John Frieda Salons launches the new ‘Root Pop’ colour service

By Phoebe Spuyman

It’s time to make a feature of your roots. Pioneered by the globally revered Colour Queen, Nicola Clarke, this look is a break away from colour tradition by creating a playful root that transforms hair from every day to extra!

How it works? The John Frieda Salons colour team will be able to identify the right shade for your skin tone and lifestyle. The root is then bleached and the colour added, whilst the rest of the hair remains its original colour. From a gentle pastel to a striking orange, work with the stylist to opt for the colour that best suits you.

“Striking pops of colour are a trend that is just set to grow,” says Nicola. “together with my colour team we have pioneered the Root Pop which offers colour that makes a feature of roots rather than trying to hide them. On naturally darker hair the stronger colours such as orange look good and purple looks really striking on blonde hair and every colour in-between can work.”

What a difference a dye makes…
